The x1149 is a tool for engineers to perform structural tests, such as open and short tests on their PCBAs. It also performs In-System Programming for devices such as FPGAs and CPLDs.

Additionally, x1149 programs PROM (Programmable Read-Only Memory) devices and execute memory verification tests on devices such as DDR SDRAMs (Double Data Rate Synchronous Dynamic Random-Access Memory).

A lifetime tester for capacitors. The lifetime tester applies – besides temperature – both a realistic DC voltage and an AC-current profile at the same time during long-term tests. The main parameters are monitored continuously during this stress phase over hours and days. Measurement data is stored in intervals, and deviations from expected behavior are logged immediately.

After specified intervals, the stress is stopped, and capacitor parameters are measured precisely with an LCR meter and a leakage current meter.

VALDINO (VALVE CONTROL UNIT)

The primary purpose of ValDino is to apply currents to solenoid valves. Generally, the applied current is defined by toggling the output at a specified duty cycle. A minimum inductance of the load is required. Depending on the valve type, different current waveforms are used.

VALDI (VALVE DRIVER UNIT)

ValDi system may be used to define load profiles and control the activation and stress of up to 8 solenoid valves parallel and independently.

The basic functionality of ValDi is the following:

·       Applying currents to hydraulic solenoid valves

·       Acquire data

·       Processing control loops

·       Signal valve status on debug outputs

The hardware may be applied in functional tests or endurance tests. For both, different operation modes may be used.

It may be used for monitoring both quiescent (sleep current) and operating current consumption of automotive electronic control units.

·       The Measurement range starts in the range of microamperes with a resolution of 125nA and goes up to 190A.
